Wow, wow, wow.
I am truly speechless by the amount of support, well-wishes, and empathy we have received over the past 10 days — from your messages on social media to the love we felt when clients came back into the boutique after our winter break.
Lina and I are incredibly grateful for all the kindness and encouragement you’ve shown us since I shared the decision to close our storefront at the end of February. Your support has meant more to us than we can put into words.
As promised, we want to share more details about what will be happening over the next six weeks as we prepare for this transition.
Here’s what to expect in-store:
All holiday décor is now marked down to help us begin clearing it out.
Our first markdown on in-house home décor is now live.
At this time, vintage items, candles, and apothecary are not on sale.
All furniture has been priced and will be available for purchase. There are no markdowns on furniture at this time.
Valentine’s Day Flowers 💐
Our Valentine’s collection will be released online next week, and we highly encourage pre-ordering your flowers this year. We’ve ordered a limited number of blooms, and availability will be first come, first served.
Flower pickup and delivery will be available February 12–14.
Addressing the “Elephant in the Room”
We want to be very clear: we are closing our storefront, not our business.
Niche Boutique Florals will continue — just in a different capacity. Starting at the end of March, we’ll be operating from a studio location, allowing us to focus on what we love most.
Moving forward, we will continue to share our love of flowers through:
Weekly flower deliveries
Workshops
Weddings & events
Partnering with select retailers for weekend flower sales
I will also continue my buying trips to France and will be showcasing our vintage finds through an online platform and market sales.
Staying Connected
Our website will remain the same:www.nicheboutiqueflorals.com
Our phone number will also stay the same:604-371-0800
You can always reach us at:info@nicheboutiqueflorals.com
We will still be the same Niche — just not in Fort Langley, and no longer operating daily retail sales.
We are currently creating a QR code so you can easily stay up to date with “What’s Happening at Niche.” This will be available in-store on signage and printed materials, and we encourage you to check back often to see what’s next.
From the bottom of our hearts — thank you for being part of this journey with us.
Maria & Lina
